Beauty Lies In The Eyes Of Beholder

Posted by ssjha on September 25, 2006

Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. so true.
I have always wondered what does that mean.

In simple terms what has been perceived beautiful need not be perceived as such from the other person point of view. Unfortunately its that the people think, they think that if they find someone beautiful, endearing and charming and what not then the entire world must look with the same eyes.

Agreed there are some common parameters on which the beauty is defined and in some of the cases it’s that everyone likes or appreciates the beauty of a common thing or person. But then also there are situations in which the people like the different portrayal of the thing or human being in quetion. some may appreciate the posture, some may appreciate the looks of the eye and some may appreciate the mood and the background variables. It’s just that if particualar thing is considered beautiful by all and sundry it just means that the thing has something for all the audience.

Now coming to what i had originally planned to write. I am telling about my personal experience. I have had infatuations and crushes non many females(showing that i am a normal person by the assumed standard), but my choices or the way to look at them had been always different. The girls in question were not necesarily beautiful by the conventional standard but they  had a charm about them, some had brains some had the decency and others had the sensible attitudes. Its not that i have felt atraction to the hot babes, but that was temporary and could be more precisely defined as a lust.

My friends still smile at me when i tell them about it and i in turn smile at them :) . Also one thing that i wanted to share that from my experience and my friends

”husn parde mein hi sajta hai”

But then you may ask why this dare bare picture in this post, well sometimes husn should come out too. On a serious note it was the titilating factor and the pose and poise was good. Mind that it’s an art and not an ………. i think you know what

Well the term “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder” stretches further then just preferences in women. It deals with the theory that truths are relative to what a person perceives of the world. It states that there are no moral absolutes. This is a concept I disagree with because even though some issues like abortion or gay marriage may not have a distinct answer to all, there are some things we can all agree on just as we can all agree on when we talk about what we see as beauty.
